THE FLEET

As part of our commitment to our customers, Saltees Fish now owns its own fleet of vehicles, including articulated lorries for long haul journies and rigid lorries for distribution and collection from our trawlers within Ireland. In this way, we can guarantee that our product arrives in top condition at the correct time.

Saltees Fish presently directly employs 20 staff at Kilmore Quay, and indirectly provides employment for over 100 fishermen.

The latest step in our commitment to continuity was the purchase in January 2005 of the freight/passenger vessel MV Diplomat which serves the Rosslare to Cherbourg route three times weekly.
